Event Details

This lecture and hands-on dental CE course provides general dentists with the knowledge and techniques to confidently perform common oral surgery procedures. The instructor will guide participants through atraumatic extractions, flap design, suturing, socket preservation, and post-op protocols in a supportive learning environment. The course includes lunch, a facility tour, and take-home materials.

About The Speaker

Dr. Darren S. Greenwell, DMD, FACD, FICD, NDBA, MAGD, is a highly accomplished general dentist with extensive clinical, military, and academic experience. A 2000 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Greenwell began his career in the U.S. Air Force, completing an Advanced General Dentistry residency at Barksdale Air Force Base and later serving as a staff dentist at Davis-Monthan AFB.

After returning to his home state of Kentucky, Dr. Greenwell transitioned into private practice while continuing to pursue advanced training. He earned his Fellowship (2007) and Mastership (2015) in the Academy of General Dentistry and holds Fellow status in both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Greenwell is certified in intravenous sedation and completed a residency in Comprehensive Implant Therapy at Alabama Implant Education. His passion for education and clinical excellence makes him a trusted instructor for dentists seeking to expand their surgical skills in everyday practice.
